Advanced Interactive Mapping
Most people are visually oriented, so when it comes to gaining a perspective on a neighborhood, maps can provide information that traditional content does not. Providing users with the ability to develop and interact with a map unique to their search provides an experience that is unique and engaging.
Active Website uses mapping technology in several ways. We provide a map-based property search, displaying all property data on the map including New, Current, Recently Updated and Recently Viewed Listings, along with the added ability for users to plot their Favorite properties and easily locate your company’s office locations. We make the maps interactive so the user can manipulate the data to get a better understanding of the area. We also tie these maps to a Point of Interest (POI) database that allows users to select and search using criteria that is important to their lifestyle. Our Enterprise system incorporates Microsoft VirtualEarth, Microsoft’s next generation in mapping and location service. It combines the MapPoint Web Service with exciting new innovations around bird’s eye, satellite and aerial imagery, map styles and usability as well as enhanced local search. |
